Smt Radhabai Sarda Arts, Commerce & Science College was established in June 1966. 8 Maharashtra Battalion NCC Unit stared functioning in our college from 1969 with the aim of imparting military education to students of the vicinity of Anjangaon. The intake capacity of this unit is 70 cadets. Major Pete has been in charge of the unit since the date of its inception up to 30th April, 1993. Then, Lt. PT Wakode has been in-charge of the unit since 1993 up to 2004. Since 2004 Capt. Nitin Wankhade has been looking after the unit. The physical fitness of the students and their interest in sports and games are taken into consideration while giving admission to students in NCC.

Aims & Objectives:
To develop the qualities of character, leadership comradeship, courage, discipline, spirit of adventure, secular outlook and ideals of selfless service amid the youth of the country
To create a human resource of well organized, skilled and motivated youth to endow with leadership in all walks of life and always be ready to serve the nation.
To provide an apt environment and encourage the youth to choose a career in the armed forces.
Achievements & Highlights:
Total 54 cadets got placement in Army, Police Force, Para Military Force, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and BSF etc.
NCC cadets save lives by donating their blood every year.
All cadets take active participation in tree plantation to survive nature.
NCC Cadets serve for Swcha Bharat Abhiyan and strive to root out Pulse polio, Swine flu, Aids from the society.
